Who can join?
Membership is open to health care professionals (practicing clinicians, researchers, nurses and other allied health care professionals) across the globe who are involved or interested in the study or treatment of PNH and who are not employed full-time by industry.
Membership is also open to representatives from pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry representatives who are affiliated with companies that support IPIG’s mission as Corporate Partners.
Representatives from contract research organizations, investment firms, and venture capital firms are not eligible for membership, given that IPIG is a not-for-profit scientific/educational organization whose purpose is to promulgate knowledge about and advocate for appropriate treatment and care of persons living with PNH.
Membership in IPIG is currently free of charge; no dues are assessed.
Member benefits include:
- Access to IPIG’s membership database, for purposes of medical and scientific information exchange
- Invitation to IPIG’s Annual Scientific Assembly and member dinner, held yearly just prior to and in the same city as the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting and Exposition
- Opportunities to engage in dialogue with professionals having a depth and breadth of PNH experience
- Periodic communications from IPIG about issues of interest to members, including but not limited to the IPIG Annual Scientific Assembly, PNH grant programs and awards, PNH patient meetings and conferences about which members may wish to inform their PNH patients, and guidelines
